Youth Action Gatherings

Youth Action Gatherings (YAG's) are week long summer camps to build youth awareness and community and leadership skills for environmental and social justice.

YAG's provide powerful training opportunities for high school students who would like to see their peers and schools foster a culture of sustainability and achieve deep CO₂ emissions reductions. Students old and new to the Sustainable High Schools Project will share their successes, challenges, and visions of the future for sustainability initiatives in their schools and communities while building new skills and friendships.

The last YAG was in Ottawa from July 20-24, 2009. Come back later on this year to know where and when is the next one!
