Congratulations to Baccvert who organized the successful 8th Quebec Sustainable Campuses Conference in March 2011! The Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières was the host of the eastern Sustainable Campuses Conference from March 11th to 13th 2011.

What is the regional  Sustainable Campuses Conference? The regional Sustainable Campuses Conference offers students involved in improving their campus' sustainability the opportunity to network with others, share experiences and build capacity through workshops.

2004 marked the first SYC conference in Quebec and resulted in work towards implementing a Papercut campaign on campuses. After the second conference, specifically focussed on climate change, student groups decided to adopt the Sustainable Campuses project as the main subject for the following conferences.
