Database Design and Marketing Intern (Volunteer)

Sustainable Campuses, a program of the Sierra Youth Coalition, is looking to build and launch an online platform to house and foster information sharing and social networking between individuals and groups working towards campus sustainability. We envision an online database with a user friendly interface and easily searchable functionality to house campus sustainability projects and student research. Position descriptionReporting to the Sustainable Campuses National Coordinator of the Sierra Youth Coalition, the Database Design and Marketing Intern will be primarily responsible for the layout, aesthetics and messaging of the Sustainable Campuses database and related outreach and promotional material. Responsibilities  Work with Database Developer to create attractive and user friendly interfaceCreate necessary documents to promote and market Sustainable Campuses Database to potential users Work with Business Development Intern to create a fee for service information packageWork with the Database team to develop a labeling/tagging system Other duties as assignedReporting to the Sustainable Campuses National Coordinator of the Sierra Youth Coalition, the Database Design and Marketing Intern will be primarily responsible for the layout, aesthetics and messaging of the Sustainable Campuses database and related outreach and promotional material.
