Campus Sustainability Researcher (Volunteer)

Sustainable Campuses, a program of the Sierra Youth Coalition, is looking to build and launch an online platform to house and foster information sharing and social networking between individuals and groups working towards campus sustainability. We envision an online database with a user friendly interface and easily searchable functionality to house campus sustainability projects and student research. Reporting to the Sustainable Campuses National Coordinator of the Sierra Youth Coalition, the campus sustainability researcher will be primarily responsible for compiling existing campuses sustainability project information and research papers to house in the Sustainable Campuses database. Your responsibilities:  

• Find and compile existing resources on campus sustainability
• Outreach to students, campus sustainability groups, school departments, and partner organizations 
• Update SYC developed campus sustainability resources and guides
• Work with the Database team to develop a labeling/tagging system 
• Other duties as assigned
