Conference
Each year, Sustainable Campuses BC and the North holds a regional conference giving students an opportunity for networking, peer-to-peer skills sharing, and strategizing about regional projects and issues. By working together and sharing our ideas and projects, we are helping to build a BC and the North-wide network of focused environmental student-activists.
Students from BC and the North were invited to the University of Alberta in Edmonton from January 22-24 for the 2010 Sustainable Campuses Conference.
Held in partnership with ECOS and goBEYOND, and featured inspiring workshops and speakers. Keynote speakers included Elizabeth May, MP and NDP Environment Critic Linda Duncan and the author of 'The Economics of Happiness', Mark Anielski.
