Action Committee

The BC Campus Climate Network We began as SYC's Provincial Action Committee (PAC), and have narrowed our focus to create campaigns centred around Climate Change. As the BC Campus Climate Network, we are students from across the province that have come together to support each other and inspire our schools to generate solutions to the climate crisis, while reducing our impact on the problem.

We try to provide an opportunity for face to face meetings each semester to forge friendships and share ideas, knowledge, resources, and strategize collectively. In the fall semester this takes the form of regional training summits, in the winter semester it is the Sustainable Campus Conference, and in the summer we partner with the Sustainable High Schools program to hold the Youth Action Gathering.

In addition we have Network calls four times a year that help set the strategic approach for Sustainable Campuses in BC, and for the goBEYOND project.
